I've been running this HAL for a year now, on S10U4 and U5, and it doesn't panic the kernel, and it doesn't cause hard drive clunks. HAL is a userland application anyway. There should be something printed in /var/adm/messages. --Stefan -- Stefan Teleman KDE e.V. stefan.teleman at gmail.com
