So, I've gotten KDE 4.x compiled and running on my personal Sun workstation (thanks Adriaan, Luc, and Stefan). One thing I noticed is that transparency is disabled in konsole. Isn't this supported by XRender? According to the logs, XRender seemed to be detected during the build process. Even stranger, ldd shows that konsole is linked with it. Any ideas why?
