I just wrote what I read.

Qt 4.4.0 is the first version of Qt that I've used that won't build out 
of the box on Solaris with the Sun compiler.

There are plenty listed on the TT web page that are either unsupported 
or community supported.

What on Earth are you on about? I posted a couple of replies yesterday 
to qt-interest to someone that had problems building Qt 4.4.0, and 
posted 3 or 4 of the build problems that I experienced via 
trolltech.com/bugreport-form.
