With phonon moving around and such, some of our earlier patches have been lost. In particular, the infinite-popups behavior of phonon has returned since it can't load the gstreamer backend. As a gross hack, I've reinstituted chmod 000 knotify4 post-install, but that's going to mess up other things. So if you're reinstalling from kde svn these days, be ready to either (a) see kdesupport install fail because knotify is 000 and can't be overwritten or (b) hit ctl-alt-backspace to kill all those popups.
