Great news everyone! Trolltech has added the CDDL (Common Development and Distribution License) to the GPL Exception provided with Qt.
This is as of version 4.3.3 of Qt: http://trolltech.com/developer/notes/changes/changes-4.3.3/?searchterm=CDDL What does this mean? ================== This means developers are now free to link software licensed under the CDDL to the Open Source (GPL) version of Qt, despite (normally) incompatible licensing terms. Please see this page for the conditions that apply (note this page still reflects version 1.0 of the exception, 1.1 will add more licenses): http://trolltech.com/products/qt/gplexception/ Cheers, -- Shawn Walker, Software and Systems Analyst http://binarycrusader.blogspot.com/ "To err is human -- and to blame it on a computer is even more so." - Robert Orben
