Aside from the konsole and kmail problems, which are known showstoppers, there are two bigger showstoppers: 1. Plasma crashes consistently (as already reported here), on both sparc and i386. This alone is a showstopper. 2. Multimedia is simply not there. Amarok hasn't been ported to KDE4 yet, and neither has K3B. This means no music playing and no CD/DVD burning. We do not have six months. Six months from today means February 2009. We only have one month. OpenSolaris 2008.11 will be released in November 2008. The cutoff for the November 2008 release is early October 2008.
