I've gone and put up all the packages that were built on my system - nv83, x86 - on the BionicMutton page (http://www.bionicmutton.org/solaris/) if anyone feels to try them. That's KBE -- an older version with too much stuff -- and the FOSS packages (of a few weeks ago) and KDE-r.800548 which is somewhere in the middle of a plasma api review, so at least pim and utils didn't update. But that still gives you
a) KDE4 desktop b) Konqueror that works c) Kate d) Konsole you can't type ^C in So if you like you can give it a stab. The KBE stuff isn't needed at runtime. The FOSS* things are all packages and can be installed normally. kde-r800548 is a tarball and should be unpacked in /opt. [ade] -- Adriaan de Groot, vice-president, KDE e.V. http://ev.kde.org/
