This is a great start; I tried it on a snv75 system. However, I did run in to a few things trying this tonight: * It didn't like my compiler: "cc: Sun C 5.9 SunOS_i386 Patch 124868-01 2007/07/12" (newer version than one in script); but it was just a warning so I was able to continue on. * I had to run it as root since pkgadd complained (this was despite the fact that I gave my user software installation privilege) * I received the message "cp: cannot create regular file `//root/packages/SPECS/': Not a directory" until I manually created said directory Overall, this was awesome! It worked perfectly once I took care of the above. -- Shawn Walker, Software and Systems Analyst http://binarycrusader.blogspot.com/ "We don't have enough parallel universes to allow all uses of all junction types--in the absence of quantum computing the combinatorics are not in our favor..." --Larry Wall
