[[ Skipping moribund kde-solaris at kde.org list. ]]
The default CMake SunOS.cmake file uses -xO2 as optimization flags. This
triggers a compiler crash when compiling kate in KDE4. Using O1, O3 or O4
does work. Now, -xO1 crashes the compiler elsewhere, so I'm going to advocate
using -xO3 for everything for now. That way, we can actually compile kdelibs
on Solaris.
[[ Note that this applies only to x86. On the SPARC, none of these
optimization problems appear. And I'd like to thank the Sun Netherlands folks
who administer the build machine that we have there for people very very
helpful in updating SS12 and then figuring out what the problem is
exactly. ]]
