Cool! That's also less of a dependency, isn't it? I thought gdb was very much optional, but dbx comes wih the development environment. Also, our printstack (C library function) works pretty well, so at some point I had a patch that printed out the stack trace on crashes as well (and optionally on all runtime warnings).
