Sorry to take so long to reply. Here's the situation: * KOrganizer has a maintainer J?rgen Nagel <juergen at nagel.homeip.net> , who wishes to see (and probably integrate) patches himself. I'd post them directly to him, or on this list with a CC to him Jurgen: there are several patches Tom has posted over the last week, could you please reply with approval (or not) or at least so we are sure you saw them.) * KMail has a maintainer, Daniel Naber <daniel.naber at t-online.de>, but he's historically been quite amenable to patches to that doc, and I know he is short on time lately, so I'm cc'ing him to ask how he'd like to deal with those. * KPilot you should check with Adriaan de Groot <groot at kde.org>, in case he's doing any rewriting there. But i think that one is in need of some serious work right now, so let's see what he says. * Konsolekalendar is normally well maintained by it's author, I would run any patches to that one by him too (Allen Winter <winterz at verizon.net>, but there likely isn't anything to fix in that one. Kontact has a very new user manual which ought to be right up to date, I'll have to look into that one in the morning, since my CVS machine seems to have gone a bit haywire when I tried to run it tonight to check :) All the other docs in kdepim (including kaddressbook and knode) are currently unmaintained, and you can commit patches directly to those. As far as I'm concerned, you know your way around docbook already, there's been nothing to correct or tweak in any of them, so you've got an all clear from me on anything doc related. The main reason to run them by maintainers is simply courtesy, and in case we trample on already-in-progress work (something I inadvertantly did with one of your patches to KOrganizer already, so let's not repeat it :) Regards, -- Lauri Watts KDE Documentation: http://i18n.kde.org/doc/ KDE on FreeBSD: http://freebsd.kde.org/ -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
