Hi, Marble is a desktop globe, not a space simulator. It is designed to show the maps and is not suitable to show the objects beside the main cosmic body (e.g. Earth). If you want space simulator, I'd recommend you to use Celestia [1] (native application) or SpaceEngine [2] (works fine on Linux under wine). Hope this helps.
