To be valid, and thus usable, (public) keys need to be signed by a CA (Certification Authority). These signatures are called certificates, but usually the terms âcertificateâ and â(public) keyâ are used interchangeably, and we will not distinguish between them in this manual either, except when explicitly noted.
The help topic relates to the main window. Can I see if a key was signed, or not? If I cannot see if a key was signed it should not be in the explanation of the âViewing local Keyboxâ screen.
