Some other features of K-Mail are obscured, as well. I recently learned one can open a draft / template message for editing by double-clicking the title in the message list. The documentation is seriously out of date (KDE4 -- 2013). I'm working on an update to the documentation, and would be happy to have one or two collaborators, if anyone is interested in that.
