You can compare with what happens when doing the same invalid move using Cut / Paste for instance. The job gives the error "A folder cannot be moved into itself" and dolphin displays this in the view. You want to connect to the job's result() signal and emit errorMessage from the slot, like DolphinView::slotPasteJobResult does.
