It used to be required for kdebase (in the 4.0 release) but this is no longer
true. None of -workspace, -runtime or -apps need pimlibs for their
functionality, although there might be things in plasma-* modules that *do*.
In this case, it's worth hunting down on the KDE website (probably techbase)
what the documented dependencies for kdebase and kdepim are, again.
