The KDE4 device notifier plasmoid is no longer mounting USB thumb drives. Mounting the drives manually DOES work, just not through KDE via the device notifier. This happened after upgrading to FreeBDS 8.0. It might have happened a bit earlier after upgrading to KDE 4.3.4, but I can't recall.
