Hi Marc, You're probably on your own here. [email protected] stopped supporting kde3 a long time ago. The ports were left as a courtesy to those who wanted to stick with kde3.
You might want to consider trying kde 4.6.1 when it hits the ports in a week or so. I've been quite impressed with kde4 since 4.2 or so. 4.5.5 has been great, and I look forward to 4.6.
