I've been thinking of doing this myself, but am just wondering, though, has anyone actually done this and then tried reinstalling qt3 later, after kde4 has been upgraded? Were there any problems with doing that? I'd hate to "break" all of my installed qt3-dependent ports (I much prefer the kde3 version of amarok to kde4's, for instance).
