SVN commit 10591 by makc: x11/kde4-workspace: - Don't pull GStreamer directly (for GSTREAMER option), phonon-gstreamer already depends on it - Switch default backend from phonon-gstreamer to phonon-vlc. phonon-gstreamer is based on GStreamer-1.x since recent upgrades, while QtWebkit still uses GStreamer-0.10. In the result application that depends on both of them (all of KDE in particular) fail to produce sound with this combination. QtWebkit must be upgraded for GStreamer-1.x support.
