Mikhail Teterin <[email protected]> has reassigned Bugzilla Automation <[email protected]>'s request for maintainer-feedback to [email protected]: Bug 209171: devel/qmake5 adds unwarranted -msse4.2 to CXXFLAGS https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=209171
--- Description --- My CPUs do not SSE4, but Makefile generated by qt5-qmake have -msse4.2 prepended to CXXFLAGS anyway. The CFLAGS are Ok, but CXXFLAGS are overly aggressive, which causes some programs to die from SIGILL. I'm not sure, what causes the flag to be added by mistake -- my regular CFLAGS (and CXXFLAGS) say: -O2 -pipe -march=core2 -fstack-protector -fno-strict-aliasing _______________________________________________ kde-freebsd mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd See also http://freebsd.kde.org/ for latest information
