It is also needed to add cellular:quality and cellular:operatorname to ToolTipKeys entry in ~/.kde/share/config/networkmanagementrc (or use knetworkmanager GUI interface to do that). You must logout and login again to the changes to take effect. Some information in Mobile Broadband tab will only be available when using git NetworkManager and ModemManager (May 16, 2010 at least).
