Hi all,

I am proud to announce the release of version 0.9 of KBabel.

KBabel is a set of tools for editing and managing gettext PO files. Main part
is a powerful and comfortable PO file editor which features full navigation
capabilities, full editing functionality, possibility to search for
translations in different dictionaries, spell and syntax checking, showing
diffs and many more. Also included is a "Catalog Manager", a file manager
view which helps keeping an overview of PO files. Last but not least it
includes a standalone dictionary application as an additional possibility to
access KBabel's powerful dictionaries.

New features of version 0.9 include support for showing diffs to older
messages either from older po files or from the translation database,
preventing of opening files more than once (at the same time), opening of
files from the searchresults and directly go to the searchresult in this
file, validation test for KDE specific plural forms, possibility to search in
translations, new and improved icons.
Bugfixes include fix for storing ignored words in spell check and some other
minor bugfixes and GUI fixes.

For a detailed feature list, screenshots and more information about KBabel
consider visiting its homepage at http://i18n.kde.org/tools/kbabel/.
You can either download KBabel from its homepage at
http://i18n.kde.org/tools/kbabel/download/ or get it from KDE's CVS in
package kdesdk. KBabel 0.9 requires KDE >= 2.1

Thanks for listening,
   Matthias
