openSUSE 12.1, with KDE 4.7.2, seems to have been released officially a few days ago. I was using 12.1 long before it was announced (throughout its development period).

The OP could more easily have oS 12.1 and KDE 4.7.2 than Chakra by s/11.4/12.1/ in /etc/zypp/repos.d/*repo, then 'zypper ref; zypper dup' from any root tty login.
