I think http://techbase.kde.org/Getting_Started/Sources/Amarok_Git_Tutorial provides a better base, since its gitorious-specific and is based on real world use cases. If you note the todo at the bottom, its missing comprehensive documentation for feature branches and history manipulation (each should have their own page imo). More advanced subjects but they do come up not so infrequently. Here's some docs I wrote about remote branches but hadn't published to techbase since I hadn't followed the directions myself for real: http://lists.kde.org/?l=amarok-devel&m=124946229716225&w=2 When we actually approach KDE in general using git, we can do a find/replace and change 'amarok' into 'kde'. :) But I think keeping the docs amarok-specific makes sense for now, keeps it all less theoretical.
