Ok, but this is a different problem, KDE devs will push directly to gitorious, not to an internal server, and I don't see why we couldn't use a logging feature with the data already available from the web interface. See e.g. here, all the pushes done by sebas into silk: http://gitorious.org/project-silk/project-silk there's a clear connection between pusher and commit. Can't we simply log that?
