A few UI comments. http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Usability/HIG/Form_Label_Alignment labels should be in the form "Label:" and should be right aligned. QFormLayout will do the last part for you.

" ? @drdranz if you don't implement a feature by the hard feature freeze date, I'm going to remove any placeholder for configuring it. @martin Have you had any thoughts on how to update the kded settings whilst it's running?
