currently our master is in feature/string freeze. I'd like to do lots of
fixes and improvements, but these break the freeze. I also want to start
with the Nepomuk stuff sometime next week (the master will still be 10
days in freeze), so I propose to branch the code to telepathy-kde-0.2
and continue release bugfixes there, while leaving the master open for
further development.
Objections?
Just one, the release manager said:
Rather than messing about with 0.2 branches we decided in IRC that any
new features should be done in clone repos (or not at all) up until
the release, to save any confusion with pushing and pulling all over
the place. Especially dealing with branches in the submodule, which
would probably make me kill someone.
Just before release I'll make 0.2 branches so we can do a 0.2.1 and
such afterwards.
Therefore, for this release, I suggest to follow the rules and go for a
clone repository... You can merge the changes into master in 15 days :D
