Only a thousand years late.. I think we are ready to release the 0.8 beta. Unless there any objections I will tag and make tarballs this weekend.
Could everyone please test and make sure everything is working OK. Final release will be 2 weeks after I tag. We are now feature and string frozen. Please make sure any new strings are not merged into master - features branches are fine and we can start on 0.9 features.
