Hi everybody, as you might know KDE on Windows is missing a backend for Solid API. Solid is used in amarok, digikam, dolphin, some plasma applets and some more applications. As this is a task which is rather compact and can be the way into a new developer for KDE on Windows I added it to the Ideas list for the Google Summer of Code:

The biggest problem though might be to find somebody who is able to implement this task.
