Subject: [Kde-cvs-announce]  the importance of using anongit.kde.org;
kde-runtime repush
To: [email protected]

The git.kde.org server has come onto a lot of needless stress this
weekend because of people cloning directly from it. Please use
anongit.kde.org for all your pulling, fetching and cloning needs. It's
socially responsible!

Like we mentioned earlier, the kde: prefix makes this easy. Instructions are at:
http://community.kde.org/Sysadmin/GitKdeOrgManual#Let_Git_rewrite_URL_prefixes

The kde-runtime repository had a couple of bugs in its rules and
processing that required a new conversion. In not less then 8 hours,
this new conversion will be force pushed to kde:kde-runtime. At that
time you should make a new clone, and copy any development work on to
the new clone.

The new kde-runtime repo is available for verifying purposes at
kde:scratch/ianmonroe/kdebase-runtime

Thanks,
Ian Monroe, Nicolás Alvarez & the KDE Sysadmin Team
