Yeah I guess so too, and personally I won't be crying over dropping Virtuoso and Nepomuk anyway... I think Strigi can do certainly do a good enough job for Enterprise, and I would go for it too. As for KDE-Windows in general, while it would be nice to have an option for Strigi or Nepomuk when building with Emerge, I think sticking to Strigi for the installer makes sense. I still see a potential with using Nepomuk for KDE-Windows in the future, as more apps start using it and sharing data. But for now I don't think it's worth all the trouble and issues that come with it. > > > Do we have a timeline as to how and when the project will be started ? > > Romain > > I've already started, our packaging scripts are already in emerge under > portage/package/kdepim-e5-package but will need some more work of course > once we get the build through. > The Build system is already running, first reports are there, some git > problems and outdated e5 portage files ;) > > My current aim for time is that we have some sucessfully built packages by > the end of next week but there might be distractions as always. > > Regards > Andre -- Romain Pokrzywka | [email protected] | Senior Qt Software Engineer & Trainer Klarälvdalens Datakonsult AB, a KDAB Group company Tel.
