The implied solution that is expected to work from the Linux perspective is that all code should be reviewed and if it works, be merged into master. Of course this means that code will only be tested on the platforms where the review happens - which effectively means Linux. This means that we either must review each and every patch - which is unrealistic or that we will have to get our fixes in from time using the normal way of review requests - which will slow down our work and bind our resources.
