Emerge is very likely the way to go if you want to install KDE
applications, but Ardour is not a KDE application (but is based on gtk)
and so you won't be able to get it running with emerge. Other KDE
applications might work, this depends on the applications that have
emerge recipes or are easy to build on top of KDE.
