for quite a while, i think since KDE 4.5, the embedded editor doesn't edit anymore; neither is it possible to copy & paste from it. there's an old bug about this (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259338) which didn't receive any attention, but in the release note for 4.6, the editor is advertised as functioning. is this just an openSUSE phenomenon, or are other distros also affected?
