Hmm... this should suffice unless there is something happening to
cause it to actually request a larger image. Please test 'inigo
-profile atsc_1080i_60 some.mts' and 'inigo -profile atsc_720p_30
some.mts' without having set that SDL env var, and let me know if you
get blue screen with either or both of those.

You have the required format.

Blue screen means the app is using Xv, but has not provided any video
or "repainted" it - in this case, because MLT is tripping on
something.
