I am writing a short guide explaining how to compile MLT and Kdenlive staticly against FFmpeg svn. Thanks to Dave Wiki.

When working, we could email package maintainers with precise instructions to compile MLT and Kdenlive staticly. What do you think? Dave: when fetching ffmpeg in MLT compilation, would it be possible to indicate a release?
