I have now implemented the use of Dan's new producer_consumer in Kdenlive when the rendering profile is different from the project's profile. However there currently is a bug in the producer_consumer, because it does not accept the "in" property, and rendering always starts from the first frame, so currently you cannot render a "zone", only full project... Dan if you want to look at it you're welcome.
