Your icon got me excited and happy the moment i saw it. It is refreshing, dynamic, joyful, calling attention, colourful yet still elegant.
Also, it scales well. It mirrors the dynamism of KDEnlive's development, and typical for KDE. A clapboard, in contrast, is backward, stalling in the authoritarian commercialist, colourless cutting off. Apple used it for years for their iMovie, but there it was blue.
