Hi everyone. There has been a LOT of activity these days in Kdenlive, so here is a quick mail to inform you about the recent changes / features added in svn by the developers (non exhaustive):
* Work on the titler (better alignment, unicode support, bug fixes) * Several stability fixes, mostly related to clip move, delete,... * Vertical timeline zoom (small buttons above the track numbers) * Non real time playing in monitor (plays all frames so that you can see your effects properly) * Template based title clips (1) * and of course the usual bugfixes... (1) Template clips: Currently, to try template clips, you have to create a title clip with a text block containing the "%s" string. Save your title as a .kdenlivetitle file. Then, from the Add Clip menu, do: "Add Template Title" and select your previously created title. The interesting part is that now, the "description" field for the created clip will automatically be inserted in place of the "%s" string. That means you can have several title clips with the same template and just change the text from the "Description" column in 2 clicks. You can of course modify the base template (.kdenlivetitle file) then do a "Reload Clip" on the template clips to have them all automatically updated! Feedback welcome.
