First of all, yes, it is a great thing to have; good job. It works great on Linux, but still crashing on OS X. Unfortunately, it is an overhead whether scopes are visible and for each frame displayed in the monitor. This is somewhat complicated by the fact that Mlt::Frame is not a QObject; so it can not be queued between signal and slot on separate threads. So, I immediately convert it to a QImage, which can be queued. Other factors include the fact that it may need to convert YUV to RGB and then swap bytes to convert ABGR to ARGB. > it has anything to do with that.
