We (currently ;)) aren't really targeting users of cinema level
cameras. However I guess Redcode support will become more interesting
when the Red Scarlet becomes available.
Of course before one could even think of integrating libraw a whole
bunch of other things would have to be done. We would need higher
bitrate support (at least 16 bit per channel) throughout MLT and
including frei0r...
Quite a big task probably, however in my opinion this has to be done
anyways sooner or later.
