I was able to fix the audio playback issue and I'm currently not able
to reproduce the previously experienced crash.
However I had two other issues. The convolution calculation for very
long clips makes Kdenlive crash at some point without Dr. Konqi
popping up, so I guess that's a memory problem, but I didn't look into
it yet. And some clips always misalign (also not investigated yet, but
I suspect it's just because of bad quality recordings).

But if you are also unable to reproduce the first crash I guess we can
still remove the option to manually disable the feature.
