Yes the refactoring is far from complete, which had to be expected to some extent considering the huge amount of functionality hidden in Kdenlive. But I also have to admit I wasn't very fast, some code design questions took me very long to figure out and I also struggled with some issue longer than one should. I am away next week. Afterwards I'll add some more API documentation and write a longer mail explaining the code a bit to make it easier to get into it. I'll then continue working on some fundamental things and set up some sort of transition list of how I things should be ported/implemented in the new code as a basis for discussion.
