i hope to get a new kdenlive version soon on gentoo. I am waiting for a decent capturing software especially one that can capture my microphone output and the main channel at the same time. I dont think ffmpeg can do it but you could make it so that kdenlive can capture the desktop sounds in a different file and at the same time record mic with ffmpeg?
