Hi there, Dan. Ah, I got it to work.. no Qimage though.
However, I am going to spend a little time trying to get as much of the install according to the web page instructions before starting the bug reports. I don't want to put any bogus ones in there. :) I'll see if I can update ffmpeg, because the one that was finally released at the beginning of this year ( 0.5 ) does not support some of the ./configure switches in the web page installation instructions. I wonder why I can't open an account in the bug tracker. I can browse the bugs, but the link that the signup bot sent me to my mail account does not work. :( Anyways... thanks for the reply! Have a great weekend. -Evert Vorster- On Sat, Dec 5, 2009 at 9:09 PM, Dan Dennedy <dan at dennedy.org> wrote: > 2009/12/5 Evert Vorster <evorster at gmail.com>: > > Hello there. > > > > I used to use OpenMovieEditor, as it was the only video editor that > supports > > the AVCHD that my Canon HF100 produces. > > > > I recently noticed that kdenlive also supports this format! > > Richard Spindler, the lead developer of OME, is persuing other interests, > > and development on this application has officially stopped till further > > notice. > > > > I am also a software tester for Sorcerer, a sources based linux > > distribution. > > > > So, I decide to give kdenlive a spin. > > > > Straight away, I run into problems.
