Hi,
The kmail version is 1.9.7, not 1.9.8 . I checked whether Debian was
misbundling the program, but the kdepim-3.5.8 source code archive also has
kmail/kmversion.h:#define KMAIL_VERSION "1.9.7" in the kmail source code.
So to be clear, the version of the program affected is kmail 1.9.7 from
kdepim-3.5.8.tar.bz2
