Hi Allen,
I just finished compiling the latest qt-copy, kdelibs, kdepimlibs and kdepim
however this bug is still there. Looking at wireshark, KDE 3.5.8 attempts to
connect to 143 (IMAP), and when this connection fails, it then connects to 993
(IMAPS).
However the latest KDE svn just checks the port 143 and then reports the
failure.
