After a longer time of using quanta, the .kde/share/config/quantarc file is
growing, perhaps because of the growing list of autosaved files repeating the
same entries, till quanta is hanging at program start; the quantarc was then
558KB or respective 284KB long.
Sorry - but it was my first start of Quanta in SuSE10.3, which was giving this
failure.
In bad luck it's possible, that this error situation is caming up as a relic of
a corrected error.
When I looked up my .kde/share/config files, I was seeing an old defect copy of
quantarc from march 2007, which I renamed to quantarcKO - the described effect
is a very old one.
On the other side, it was needing nearly a year of using quanta to set up this
overflow situation.
Just to give an impression, a little extract from my quantarc file:

To go on with quanta it is necessary to kill or rename the quantarc file.
