Summary: Would like more practical editing f the node's title
Product: knotes
Version: unspecified
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: drx a-blast org
Version: 3.6 (using 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.3)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic
At the moment users have to double-click on a note's title to produce a dialog
box in which to enter the node's new title.
I suggest to just use the first line of the note as its title. It's like this
for example on PalmOs and Gnome's Tomboy and proved super practical. As a user
i would not have to think of any meta-data or replacing the default title
(which is just a date) with something more meaningful.
After all, it should help taking notes and not be so much about document
handling or metadata ... just quick notes.
